KO Pentagon Knee Orthosis
This posterior fitting, single-jointed, upright orthosis provides a patient-friendly alternative to the traditional bulky double upright, hinged knee configuration. The Pentagon Orthosis has no medial/lateral joints or uprights and is the only system that allows the calf and thigh segments to dynamically shorten and lengthen with the patient's extremity during flexion and extension of the knee. Compensation for this shortening and lengthening is through the use of a free motion cam, achieving comfort and function throughout the full ROM of the orthosis.

The KO can address up to five mechanical knee functions: Free Motion, Drop Lock, Variable ROM, Ratchet Lock and Lock Out.
Multiple indications: CVA, contracture management, serial cast management and musculoskeletal injuries.
